sometimes you have to shut your eyes
to see what’s behind your world
because the colours you’re most defined by
are the ones you never see

make believe lies are like a soft duvet
but it won’t keep you warm
when you can hear the wind through the walls
when you can hear the laughter of your thoughts

let your body be your body
nourish your heart to know for yourself
you have to start getting to know
