In the most subtle ways, we never truly get over our traumas. And sometimes we become unkind. Even to those who love us most. You see, trauma reminds us of something we have already known since birth...that we were brought into this world alone, and we will leave this world alone.

And maybe, if I remind myself this fact every day..then maybe the pain would be manageable.

Marriage Is Not About Age

Have you ever been asked about, "Why are you not married ?, when other people who are the same age as you are married. Some even get married at a young age, then when is your turn? Are you not afraid of your age?" Let me say something, "Marriage is not about age; it's about finding the right person, finding a person who can accept all of you, in and out, not about the good thing about you, but for the bad side too. Marriage is said to be a sacred institute, it is about not only about two people coming together but also about two families coming together.  Age might just be a number, but how much is that important when two people are getting married. If you follow quotes and other mostly sad content. Every hardship you face will come off as the worse calamity. Every negative thought and feeling will be validated in a self destructive manner. Shaytaan’s literal life goal is to drag as many people as he can to Jahannam. He won’t stop plotting and planning against us. Think of it this way. If you follow motivational, positive Islamic content, you’ll be exposed to uplifting reminders that would ease your journey through hardships and struggles. However if you do the opposite and decide to dwell on the negative thoughts and emotions through being exposed to depressing content, then you would only harm yourself and beat the purpose of hardship; expiation of sins and raising of ranks. Allah tests whom HE loves so why do we equip shaytaan with the power to make us think or feel otherwise? Our eyes and ears are doorways between the world and brain. Be wary of what you let through them. And Allah knows best. Source :  https...
